Greetings
Activating the intellectual creation cycle is an essential initiative for sustaining continuous innovation. However, in Japan, there have been no systematic efforts of this kind, and for a long time, no platform existed to effectively utilize patents.
We aim to create a space where finance and intellectual property can interact synergistically, driving the realization of the intellectual creation cycle. It was with this vision that Intellectual Creation Cycle Laboratory Inc. (ICCL) was established. ICCL will continue its activities to serve as a catalyst for future innovation.

Graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Information Engineering
1995
Joined Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now Panasonic Corporation)
Engaged in the development of processors and compilers in the semiconductor division
Promoted intellectual property strategy work centered on patent utilization
2010
Transferred to the Intellectual Property Department
Led IP strategy including licensing negotiations, litigation, alliances, and patent transactions in the semiconductor and home appliance fields
2014
Served as Head of Intellectual Property at Nitto Boseki Co., Ltd.
2015
Joined IP Bridge Co., Ltd. as License Director (responsible for semiconductor patents)
Concluded license agreements with more than ten overseas semiconductor companies
Promoted patent utilization consulting services for corporations
2021
Established IP STREAM, a patent utilization office
2022
Appointed Management Advisor at Unison Capital Co., Ltd.
Founded IP Stream Co., Ltd., and assumed role of President & CEO
2024
Founded Intellectual Creation Cycle Laboratory Inc., and assumed role of President & CEO
Appointed Visiting Associate Professor at Yamagata University
Hajime Ogawa has experience in all phases from invention to monetization, including invention, patent acquisition, patent transactions, license negotiations, litigation, and contract execution.
